So, you have a dishwasher. No, not your kids. The actual machine that makes all the noise while Matlock re-runs are on. Did you know that you can wash more than just your dishes in there?

Here are 10 things AOL says wash up good in your dishwasher:

1.  Shoes - Sneakers, dock shoes, I just wouldn't attempt your dress shoes, okay?

2.  Baseball hats - They'll stay in shape without that weird cage thing that you bought in the 90's. Although, they may shrink.

3.  Brushes and combs - Just make sure there are no wooden handles, and that you clean the hair off bristles before you but them through a cycle.

4.  Toys - Simple! Just no electronics, or toys with tiny parts or that break easily.

5.  Glass lampshades from light fixtures.

6.  Your toothbrush holder.

7.  Make-up brushes - Put them in the silverware holder and you be mixing colors on your face.

8.  Sports equipment - You know those shin guards your kids wear for soccer? They wash up perfect. If they're plastic, usually they're able to go in the dishwasher.

9.  Vacuum attachments.

10.  Your computer keyboard - People online swear it won't break if you don't use detergent. You might have to let it dry for a few days, obviously they're talking about desktop keyboards. If you put your laptop in the dishwasher we are going to sit down and have a talk about how to use your common sense.
