Soulful artists Emeli Sande and Frank Ocean were among the big winners at the 2013 BRIT Awards.

The 'Next to Me' creator grabbed two trophies -- British Female Solo Artist and British Album of the Year for 'Our Version of Events' -- while Ocean nabbed the International Male Solo Artist award.

"This feels amazing. This is incredible I am so happy to win this award," Sande told the crowd according to the Daily Mail. "Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to win, thank you my family."

Sande closed the awards ceremony with a medley of hits from her critically-acclaimed album 'Our Version of Events.' She opened with 'Clowns' followed by 'Next to Me' and finished with 'My Kind of Love.'

After nabbing two Grammy Awards earlier this month, Ocean continued his winning streak with his Brit Awards win. The 'Thinkin Bout You' singer was humble and gracious upon receiving his white polka-dotted statue. "Before this year I didn't get many trophies in my life, and I'm definitely a long way from working fast food in New Orleans so thank you for this!" he said during his acceptance speech. "And thanks to Damien Hirst for the polka dots, thank you!" he added.

Justin Timberlake was also in the house, and, as usual, was dressed to impress. The dapper crooner, who wore a sleek tuxedo, premiered his new single 'Mirrors,' which is from his upcoming album, 'The 20/20 Experience.'

Other artists in attendance were Rita Ora, who, despite having three nominations, came away empty-handed. Fellow artist Ne-Yo and rapper Iggy Azalea were also present at the Brit Awards.
