Last week I celebrated my 40th birthday.  It's one of those birthdays where you find yourself looking back at things like your life, job or accomplishments.  My morning show partner, Tanya, got me a cute birthday card that actually is true.

It says, "Do you realize that 40 years ago...

Call waiting referred to a line outside of a phone booth.

A flat screen was something you put in your window to keep the insects out.

An airbag was someone who talked too much.

Guys only got pierced ears from going to a really loud concert.

Spam was found only in your kitchen.

A cell phone was what you used to make your one call from jail.

High-speed access was an on-ramp to the freeway.
