His name is Tom Barnett and he  is the owner of Barnett Management which owns 24 Burger Kings in Arizona.

While you are dreaming of a delicious Yumbo, try to focus here for a moment. Tom's ownership recently won Burger King's national 'Franchisee of the Year' award, which comes with some pretty sweet prizes for Tom.

The corporate office gave him a brand new Corvette and a Rolex!  Even though his employees didn't get anything, they say they were happy for him and thrilled to have won the award.

Now here's where stellar management shines through. Tom got together with his co-owners and decided to sell the prizes. They used the money to give all their longtime employees a fat bonus.

He and partners tossed in some of their own bank accounts of course but they delivered a total of $120,000 to more than a hundred people. That averages out to be about $1,000.00 per employee bonus!

The bonuses were on a sliding scale, for time with the company and ranged from a few hundred dollars to $5,000.00.  One manager told the local news that hers was almost an entire month's pay.
