The City of Binghamton’s Annual Parade Day is just around the corner. Last year Binghamton University was ranked number ten on the list of Best College Parade Days!

We are all about having a good time but keep in mind a lot of effort was put into this event. Parade Day is Saturday, March 7th starting at 1:30pm.

Below we have provided tips for a safe and fun day.

Tips for Parade Day:

Layer Up: Dress warm and comfortable! This includes your choice of shoes too!

Don’t Forget the Green: Of course we mean the color of your clothing but money is always a necessity too!

Mobs of People: Be prepared and patient because bars will be crowded and you may end up waiting outside for a little while.

Traffic: Streets will be closed off for the parade.

Accessorize: Don’t forget your Saint Patty’s Day head bands, necklaces, earrings and green eye shadow.

Camera Ready: Relive the fun years down the road! Take pictures!

The Calm Before the Storm: The night before is as crucial as the day of. Getting plenty of sleep the night before will rejuvenate and revive you for the big day!

Foods: Stack up on carbs to absorb the alcohol.
