‘A Room To Heal’ Hosts Octoberfest at Traditions at The Glen

Last Friday was 'A Room To Heal's' Octoberfest at Traditions at the Glen. We had such a great time! Tickets included food, beer and entertainment. It was an evening filled with entertainment, with a traditional Bavarian feast, festive music by Briendenbach The Band, competitions for 'Bring Your Own Stein' and Oktoberfest attire. A Room To Heal is a local organization started by two local mothers who wanted to make a difference. One of the mother's son had leukemia. This is a great local organization that is made up of all volunteers that go into a sick child's room and remodel it, giving them a clean, safe, fantasy environment.
