Take an Easy Day Trip to Letchworth State Park

Beautiful Letchworth State Park is located about 35 miles southwest of Rochester, and well worth the 2 hour drive from Binghamton!  I've driven past it many times but have never gone into the park that is known as the 'Grand Canyon of the East!'

Not only is Letchworth State Park beautiful, but it seems that there is always something happening inside the 17 mile park.  We happened to go this past weekend for a huge craft fair with over 300 different vendors.

You have to do yourself a favor and make plans to check out Letchworth State Park.  They have lodging, camping, swimming pools, waterfalls, white water rafting, fishing and hiking to name a few of the many things to do there.
