A Random Act of Kindness

My dad and uncle experienced a random act of kindness from a stranger recently and I thought it would be nice to share the story...

My uncle was visiting from Colorado Springs for a couple of weeks. One day in particular, he went out and about with my dad and they stopped for coffee. My dad ordered the coffee and pulled up to the window to pay. When he handed the employee his debit card to pay, they replied with "the person who was ahead of you already paid for your drink". My dad was shocked that this person he didn't even know just decided to pay for their coffee for no reason at all other than to be kind.

I love stories like these and hope I will be able to do something like this, especially as the holiday season approaches. Has anything like this happened to you? Or, have you gone out of your way to do something nice for a stranger?
