AMC Says Texting at The Movies is a Bad Idea
Last week, the head of AMC movie theaters said they might start allowing people to text during movies, and the internet went crazy over it. Some people thought it was a good idea, but a lot more people thought it was a truly horrible idea.
And thankfully, those people won out. After all the backlash, AMC posted a Tweet on last Friday that said: "No texting at AMC. Won't happen. You spoke. We listened."
The CEO who suggested it to begin with dropped a statment as well saying that after hearing all the feedback, it was obvious that it's something the audience "does not want."
