Montrose Blueberry Festival Seeks Donations for White Elephant Sale

This year marks the 38th year for the Montrose Blueberry Festival, which is two days of bargain hunting, book shopping, bakes sales, crafts, games, a Civil War reenactor camp and so much more and the best part of all is that every single penny goes directly to support the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association.

When you're cleaning around the house and stumble on things you don't want anymore, keep the Montrose Blueberry Festival in mind as they're looking for items they can sell at their white elephant sale. If you’ve got clean and gently used items you longer want, you can drop off your things for the white elephant sale from 9am-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during June and July (through July 25th) at the former Tom Kerr Chevrolet dealership which is located next to McDonald's and right across from Kost Tire on Grow Avenue.

The Montrose Blueberry Festival will be held on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 5th from 9am-4pm both days on the Village Green between Lake Avenue and Monument Street in Montrose.

Note: The Montrose Blueberry Festival isn't able to accept large appliances, large furniture, or exercise equipment for their white elephant sale. They’re also not able to accept clothing donations and encourage you if you have clothing donations to take them to Interfaith. If you've got books you'd like to donate, you can take them directly to the Susquehanna County Historical Society which is located at 18 Monument Street in Montrose.
