It seems like year after year stores are gradually opening earlier for Black Friday. Now, it's the norm for stores to open their doors at midnight. Some stores are even opening Thanksgiving night at 8pm! I'm not sure about anyone else, but isn't that taking away from Black FRIDAY, not to mention taking away from Thanksgiving?! It's looking like we should be calling the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Thursday instead.

I personally think that 5:30am Friday morning is early enough for stores to open. I also do not think it's right to take retail employees away from their families on Thanksgiving Day! I'm sure I'll be out shopping next Friday but not until after at least 7am!

Do you think retail stores are taking Black Friday too far?
