The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Freeze Watch in effect from late May 22 through May 23.  The watch is for the Twin Tier Region, the Western Mohawk Valley, Western Catskills and the Pocono Mountain Region.

Forecasters are predicting temperatures to fall into the low 30's overnight Friday into early Saturday morning.  Forecasters urge that vegetation that may be impacted by freezing conditions should be protected.

The National Weather Service forecast for Friday  for the Greater Binghamton area calls for a high of 59 during the day.

Overnight, forecasters predict temperatures to fall to 33.  With various elevation differences in our area the potential is there for even lower temperatures.  By Saturday temperatures are predicted to reach a high of 62 and then move to a high of 74 on Sunday.
