Productivity is important because no one wants to waste their days away. Bustle has a few clever tricks to be more productive without changing your schedule. That means, no getting up earlier, no skipping out on happy hour. Here's what I mean.

  • Use a timer because timers create urgency and focus for a pre-determined amount of time. Tasks will get done faster if you set a specific time for them to be completed in.
  • Stop multitasking! You're not actually getting more work done this way. Focus on a single task at a time and then move to the next one.
  • Get organized to save time looking for things. And studies show that a cluttered desk can hurt your ability to focus on what you're doing. So get organized, and stay organized.
  • Drink more water because even mild dehydration can cause fatigue and tiredness. No one can be productive if all they can think about is sleeping.

It can be hard to form new habits and toss out the old, bad ones, but a little determination can go a long way towards more productivity.
