Binghamton University honored three standout athletes and a championship team with induction into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame.  The honorees were introduced at halftime of the men's basketball game against Colgate at the Events Center on Saturday.

The 2017 inductees include:

Brendon Hitchock from the Class of 2007.  Hitchcock is considered one of the university's finest baseball players of all-time.

He was a four-time America East all-conference selection and was the 2007 America East Player of the Year. The outfielder/first baseman ranks among the school's Top-10 in seven offensive categories.

Mollie Lehman from the Class of 2000.  Lehman was a standout softball player who was a two-time all-region selection.  She hit .376 in her senior season and graduated holding six school records including career batting average at .379, runs scored with 111 and hits with 170.

Josh Patterson from the Class of 2010.  Patterson is Binghamton University's first Division I wrestling All-American and a four-time NCAA Division I qualifier.  He led the nation in 2009 in wins with 46 and pins with 22.  He was named the school's Athlete of the Year in 2008-09.

The 1983 Women's Cross Country Team. They become the first women's team to be inducted into the Binghamton University Athletic Hall of Fame.  They were coached by Hall of Fame member Gary Truce.  The team won the SUNYAC Championship, were runnerup at the NCAA New York Regional and finished fifth in the 1983 NCAA Championship.

The new inductees were officially inducted into the Hall during a dinner and awards presentation in the Tau Room in the Events Center on Saturday evening.
