If you want to take a road trip this summer, but you're not sure where, this could actually be helpful.

The website WalletHub.com just looked at all 50 states, and ranked the best and worst states to take a road trip this summer.

It's based on gas prices, tolls, accident rates, national parks, scenery, weather, camping, and food.

And the 10 best states for a road trip are:  Oregon, Nevada, Utah, North Carolina, Minnesota, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Louisiana and Vermont.

The 10 worst states are:  Connecticut, Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, Michigan, Delaware, Arkansas, Kansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

And if you're not planning to take a road trip this summer. well, I guess commuting to your terrible job every day sort of counts.  Just listen to us, we'll keep you company.
