Best Social Media of 2016: The PopCrush Fan Choice Awards

It’s that time of year again: the time for you, the PopCrush readers, to determine the very best that 2016 had to offer — from music, to movies, to television, and everything in between.

Social media has proven to be an integral part of celebrity, and it shows no signs of falling out of favor with the general public anytime soon. It's true that celebrities carefully cultivate their brands with the help of Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and beyond -- and some of them are better at it than others.

Considering the high volume of quality social media accounts, we need your help deciding on the best of 2016.

Take reigning lip kit queen Kylie Jenner, who skillfully uses social media (Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram, she reigns across all three platforms) to promote her Kylie Cosmetics makeup line. Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, meanwhile, takes a more political approach to social, while Britney Spears often floods her Instagram with inspirational quotes.

Also up for Best Social Media of 2016 consideration are huge acts like Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars (that legendary VMAs tweet will hold his place in the running forevermore), the always-quotable Kanye West, the inimitable and hilarious Chrissy Teigen and many more.
