The Downtown Binghamton Halloween Parade is just over a week away and preparations are underway. October 27th at 1 p.m. will officially kick off the Halloweekend and Halloweek!

The parade will launch at Main and Arthur streets in Binghamton and conclude at the roundabout after Exchange Street.

The parade is FULL of participants ready to entertain and wow the crowd. Corvette clubs, local police and fire departments, and dace groups are set to march down the route.

This year's theme will be "Pirates and Princesses." The costumes ideas are unlimited. You could be a pirate princess or a princess pirate.

The Shriners will have their go-karts, A Rocky Horror Picture Show group will represent the classic film, and dirtbikes and skate teams will fill the streets of Downtown Binghamton.

Make sure to bring chairs and bags to collect all the candy that will be thrown out during the parade. We are encouraging people to wear costumes! Why wear your Halloween costumes once, when you can do it twice!
