The defending Eastern League Champion Binghamton Mets open up their 2015 season on Thursday night in Akron, Oho.  Air time is set for 6:20 PM with Tim Heiman.  After four games in Akron the B-Mets head to Erie for a three-game series.  Binghamton has its home opener on Thursday, April 16 against the Harrisburg Senators.

Pedro Lopez is back for his fourth season as the B-Mets' manager.  A number of players who saw duty in Binghamton last season are slated to open the season here again.

Catcher Xorge Carillo is due back as are outfielder Brandon Nimmo, Jayce Boyd who drove in the winning run to clinch the Eastern League title, and slugger Dustin Lawley.

Fans will get the opportunity to meet the new edition of the B-Mets at the team's Welcome Back B-Mets Dinner Tuesday evening at the Holiday Inn Downtown.
