Binghamton Parade Day 2013

Parade Day 2013 is quickly approaching! This Saturday will mark 6 weeks until all of the festivities begin on March 2nd! The excitement is building but there's been a little bit of controversy swirling around the parade this year due to the new roundabout on Court Street.

The Roundabout on Court Street will prevent fire trucks and flat bed floats from participating and because of this, the parade will be much shorter. Rumor has it, the parade route will change next year so everyone can participate as usual!

Drama aside, Parade Day is one of the most anticipated events in the area! Everyone has their own traditions and some people don't end up remembering what they did the following day (haha). My favorite part about Parade Day is getting all dressed up in anything that is green, sparkly with shamrocks!
