Ready or not, here it comes! Binghamton’s 51st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is this Saturday, March 3rd in downtown Binghamton.

Binghamton’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will kick off at 11:30am with Mass at St. Mary's of Assumption Church on Main Street in Binghamton. This mass will honor the members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians as well as the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians who have passed away. Legend says that if you hang your rosary beads outside the church, the weather will be good for parade day.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade will follow Mass with a 1:30pm step off time. The parade lines up in the area of NYSEG stadium and travels down Court Street, concluding at Edwards Street on Binghamton’s West Side.

If you'll be watching the parade with your kids, with someone elderly, or with someone who has trouble with mobility, you might want to plan on avoiding the intersections of Court and State Streets because that's where the largest crowd gathers. The crowd size at that location was a bit smaller in 2017 because Binghamton University took an early mid-semester break and there's a chance that might be the same case this year as we've been notified that Binghamton University students will be on break March 3rd-7th.

If you're looking for a place to park your chair or to stand and watch the parade, the map below will give you a better idea of the actual parade route.
