Binghamton Zoo Visits With a Tarantula

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park stopped in the studio this morning to show off "Cupcake". Yes, that is the tarantula's name. If you are not a fan of spiders, then consider yourself lucky that you weren't in the studio this morning.

Rachel from the zoo came in the studio this morning to hang out and chat about Boo at the Zoo, which is this weekend. If you are brave enough, you can stroll through the haunted zoo where you will encounter all types of horrific scenes and characters. Visitors to this event will surely see the zoo in a whole new light, or maybe no lights at all.

Boo at the Zoo is Friday and Saturday night, October 23rd and 24th. It is not recommended for children under 10 years of age.

Free parking will be available at the UHS parking lot off Pennsylvania Avenue. The BC Transit Trolley will shuttle visitors to the zoo and back 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
