An estimated crowd of several thousand jammed the Oakdale Mall on Saturday for Townsquare Media's "Binghamton's Largest Garage Sale and Craft Fair".  120 vendors displayed everything from candles and clothes to books and lawn decorations.

Vendors began to arrive as early as 7:00 AM and by the start of the event the Mall was bustling with shoppers.  Several store managers said they had never seen that large of a turnout at the Mall.  Others remarked that it looked like the start of holiday shopping again.

Vendor exhibits stretched from near the J.C Penney entrance to the area outside of Burlington Coat Factory.  One of the most popular stops was the GHS Federal Credit Union Kid Zone.  Dozens of kids visited for face painting and a chance to practice their coloring skills.

CHOW had an exhibit on display and any vendors who did not want to keep any unsold inventory could leave items that were collected by the Rescue Mission.
