Who knew that wearing a bra could actually save your life! Check out the story of a woman in China whose life was saved by wearing a bra.

A woman in China was struck by lightning last week. Her son left their house to go for a jog in the park and soon after he laughed it started to rain. So she decided to bring him an umbrella. She had it out to the park to try to find him. And that's when she got struck by lightning. Apparently the lightning hit the umbrella first and then it hit her.

She was found lying on the ground unconscious and taken to the hospital. At the hospital the doctors examined her and they realized that she had to burn marks on her chest and they realized it was from the underwire in her bra.

So the underwire in her bra must have became so hot that it redirected the lightning away from her vital organs which ended up saving her life. So her bra is the reason she is still alive today!

So bottom line....don't burn your bras but instead wear them, especially if it's going to rain!

And speaking about "the girls" don't forget that this Saturday is The 2nd Annual Lick Breast Cancer Music Fest, proceeds to benefit Traci's Hope!! In addition to the live music, there will be an original old fashioned ice cream truck serving pink soft serve along with many other yummy goodies!
