16 Years Ago Today

16 years ago today, I was blessed with the most amazing surprise...my son Caleb!

Caleb, you were in no hurry to enter the world! But at 1:24pm you finally decided to make your grand entrance. You were the most beautiful baby ever (don't tell your sister). I couldn't believe you were mine! You were such a good baby and always so happy. You made parenting look easy, even though you were the messiest eater and after most meals you required a bath...

You have always been so kindhearted. I remember when your sister was only two weeks old and you decided to share your Skittles with her. I almost had a heart attack! You always asked for two of everything just so you could share one with Lexi. That has never changed.

During the holidays you always brought your very own money with you to donate when we would go shopping. You were a selfless hero from a young age and that made you one special, young man.

I'm so proud of you, Caleb. 16 years ago I held my 7 lb 13 oz baby and now you're almost 6 feet tall! I love you more than you will ever know. Happy 16th birthday!
