The Billboard Rising Star of 2012 dons a variety of personas and outfits in the clip, but it’s not a bizarre montage piece. It’s actually a costume and theme party, and each room has a different vibe — and a particular cute boy that Jepsen is eyeing. She rocks 80′s, Marie Antoinette and wildlife garb in each setting, while her handsome paramour sports a floppy hat that she eventually pilfers from his well-coiffed head. It’s a “will they or won’t they?” vibe, but dude — you know they will.
