Celebrate The Fourth… Indoors

With the heat wave going through the area right now, I don't exactly want to spend an entire day outside on Wednesday celebrating the Fourth of July. Thankfully, there are some great ways to celebrate that I found on Bustle that are equally festive... only inside where it's cool.

• Inspired movie marathon with films like Independence Day with Will Smith, Jaws for some great summer-themed action or Forrest Gump which is a classic in its' own right. Make s'mores on the stove and settle in for some air-conditioned fun!
• American History trivia competition to see if you remember anything from high school about American History. It may get heated, but at least you won't get a sunburn.
• Watch the Macy's Fourth of July fireworks on your television instead of going outside and risk getting bit by the mosquitos!

Any other year, I would encourage you to go outside and enjoy the nice weather. I don't know about you, but I think this week is just going to be too hot!
