Charlie Puth's Don't Talk Tour has sadly evolved into his Don't Sing Tour, too.

The "We Don't Talk Anymore" artist, who's been on the road for about a month in support of his Nine Track Mind album, gutted fans on Twitter last night (October 23) when he announced he'd have to cancel his tour's remaining dates. The show series was supposed to run through November, but Puth said he's simply not in a position to perform after developing a sickness.

"This is the last thing I want because I love being on the road performing and meeting every one of you," Puth wrote, noting he's been pushing himself too hard, and not allowing his body to recover. "I promise I will do whatever I can to make it up to you. I love you so much. I’m deeply sorry."

Naturally, the Puth-devout weren't thrilled with the bit of news, but offered support on Twitter. Even those who'd planned to travel to see Puth perform live wished him well.

Released in January, Nine Track Mind has spawned the singles "Marvin Gaye" ft. Meghan Trainor, "One Call Away" and "We Don't Talk Anymore," which features Selena Gomez. The album's so far peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200.

iHeartRadio announced in September that Puth was scheduled to headline its annual Jingle Ball Tour — there's no word yet on whether he'll still be able to play.
