Check Out These Haunted Places in Upstate New York

Halloween is coming up, and what a better time to get spooked out! Bringing the family on a haunted hayride is fun but if you want to get really spooked out then you need to hop in the car and plan a trip to some of these haunted spots around Upstate New York.

There are places all over Upstate and there is even one in Owego. I am disappointed that I did not know about this place. It's the Parkview Restaurant. Built in 1867 and renovated in 2011 by owner Beth Johnson, the Irish pub features mysterious voices recorded by ghost hunters and celebrates its haunted reputation with an annual Zombie Fest party in October.

And, that is just one of many stops you should plan. There is a place in Cortland, Utica, Buffalo, and a bunch in Syracuse. The best part is, they all give tours this time of year.
