Chris Brown suffered a seizure on Friday (July 9) in his recording studio, and he’s now claiming it was brought on by his recent legal troubles and the fact that people have negative attitudes toward him.

Police rushed to the scene after a 911 call in the wee hours of 1:09AM, but Brown refused treatment from EMTs and also refused to be taken to the hospital.

It should be noted that Brown suffered from seizures as a child, so there’s that.

Now that he’s had time to recover, he’s claiming via his rep that the incident was caused by “intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”

Read: getting sued for things that may not have happened, violating his probation and people still not liking him for beating Rihanna.

Said rep also revealed the seizure was non-epileptic in nature.
