It's kind of sad that we are so deep in our phones anymore that we have completely shut out the outside world. Even while we are crossing the street, we refuse to look up from our mobile devices.

To fix this issue, a city in southern Germany called Augsburg installed the crosswalk lights in the ground! Yep, now those people can tell if its safe to cross the street without the annoyance of having to look up.

There's a line of lights that start blinking when it safe to resume walking into people and things because you'd rather Facebook than watch where the heck your going.
