It's that awful time of year again; allergies, head colds, flu, pneumonia... all these illnesses out in full force! There are MANY ways to avoid these colds, but sometimes they just sneak up on you when you least expect it.

One of the WORST parts about being sick (for me) is not being able to breath out of my nose! My mouth then constantly gets dry, lips chapped, I can't sleep a night, can't taste anything... I'm basically a miserable bitch haha!! So next to the tips on 'how to avoid the fall cold,' put these two tricks on how to get rid of your stuffy nose quick, this way you can still enjoy your time!

Now the first tip can really be done anywhere, anytime... but the second one gets a little more personal (ie. don't be in public doing it hah!)

1. Use your thumb and tongue - Use your thumb to gently press between your eyebrows for three to four seconds. Then let go, and thrust your tongue against the roof of your mouth.

This targets two bones in your face that shift back and forth, and push fluid out your sinuses. Do it four or five times in a row, and you should be able to breathe better!!

2. Use your pink - Shove your right pinky into the back left side of your mouth, behind your last molar. Then push up toward your eye and cheekbone, and hold it for three seconds. It stimulates a group of nerves connected to your nasal cavity, and helps drain fluid.

Now I'm not promising these two tricks will always work, but I did test them out and can confirm they work pretty damn well haha! Now if only there was a cure for hangryness....
