Connecticut High School’s Class of 1943 Is Finally Getting A Prom!

The year was 1943 and World War Two was going on.  The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor early in the year . . . and by the end of the class of 1943's senior year, World War Two was in full swing.  Many of the boys in the class had already enlisted by then . . . and the school cancelled prom.

I am sure this wasn't the only school that had cancelled prom, but this particular school's class reunion committee is trying to come up with ways to celebrate their 70th High School Reunion.

So, Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut is holding their prom this Sunday night.  About 70 people are expected to attend. (WTNH.Com)

I think this is awesome!  I am sure the women will look beautiful and the men will look dapper!
