Courtesy Cab Driver Robbed on Binghamton’s South Side

City of Binghamton Police Detectives say they are looking for two suspects in connection with the armed robbery of a taxi cab driver overnight March 28 on the South Side.

Police were called to Jackson and Broome Streets shortly before midnight and were searching the area early March 29.

Detective Captain John Ryan said a gun was displayed but no shots were fired and there were no injuries.

The suspects are described as younger black males but no other details were available and there is no information on what, if anything was taken from the Courtesy Cab. The two men fled on foot.
