This story will boil your blood! Anyone who grew up during the same time I did, will definitely get fired up about this story. In the risk of sounding like my father, "when I was a kid" there was no question who was right or wrong.

Back in September of 2013, a guy named Ronald Jackson from Grand Prairie, Texas caught his 12-year-old daughter texting with friends to organize an ATTACK on another kid.  So he confiscated her phone.

A few hours later, the COPS showed up, and told him to give the phone back.

Apparently the girl told her mom that dad had confiscated the phone.  Ronald is divorced from the girl's mom, and now she's married to a cop.  So she called her husband, and they went after Ronald.

But he REFUSED to give up the phone because, quote, "I didn't want the police telling me how to parent my child.  I couldn't believe they would go to this extent for a cell phone.  It didn't seem right."  So he was arrested.

Ronald was in court on Tuesday facing a misdemeanor theft charge.  Fortunately, common sense prevailed and the judge found him not guilty.

Unfortunately, Ronald says the case has completely ended his relationship with his daughter and ex-wife . . . both of whom testified against him.  And he's planning to go after the city and the police for targeting him. (CBS 11 - Dallas)
