Dave Legeno, Fenrir Greyback in ‘Harry Potter’ Movies, Found Dead

Dave Legeno, an accomplished British mixed martial artist who also acted as Fenrir Greyback in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies, was found dead at the age of 50 on Sunday.

TMZ reports that a pair of hikers found Legeno’s body in a remote area of California ominously known as Death Valley.

Police tell the site that they believe Legendo died as a result of heat related issues, and may have been dead for as many as three or four days before his body was discovered. According to Wikipedia, Death Valley is the hottest area in North America.

Legeno starred as the villainous werewolf creature Fenrir Greyback in ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ as well as both ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ films. He works with the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort, but is not a Death Eater himself.

In addition to the Harry Potter films, Legeno has also appeared in ‘Snow White and the Hunstman’ and ‘Snatch.’
