Demi Lovato Dyes Her Hair Back to Brown + Parodies Her Own Song in the Process [PHOTOS]

Demi Lovato is once again a brunette!

The ‘Neon Lights’ singer decided to dye her hair back to her natural color — with an ombre twist — after a few months of drastic changes that included coloring her hair cotton candy pink and going the Skrillex route by shaving the side of it. Not that we’re surprised that Demi (the ultimate hair chameleon) once again switched up her look — but we have to know: What inspired the change this time?

Well, Demi explained the dye job the best way she knew how — through a parody of her own song lyrics.

“Gonna give my hair a breeaaakkk, give my hair a break, gonna give my hair a break, my hair a break… Oh yeah, yeah..” she captioned the above Instagram photo, clearly referencing the chorus of her hit ‘Give Your Heart a Break.’ It might just be us, but we thought it was pretty funny.

According to E! News, Demi got the cut and color at Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood, and if you look closely at the pic, you can see the singer donning a shirt with the company’s logo on it.

While the Instagram shot shows off a strictly chocolate hue, another pic that Demi posted on Twitter displays the ends of her hair, which have been colored blonde for an ombre effect.

PopCrushers, what do you think of Demi’s new color?
