Discovery Center of the Southern Tier Prepares for Spring

Upcoming programs at the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier in Binghamton are highlighted on this weekend's edition of the weekly, local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up.

Discovery Center Marketing Director Martha Steed starts off talking about the huge annual Egg-stra Special Egg Hunt March 28, all day, at the center as well as all the programs and events to keep families busy, entertained and happy during the school Spring Break.

In addition, Steed touches on how the Discovery Center, along with other cultural and educational facilities in the Greater Binghamton area serve as a draw for visitors and enhances the appeal of the area, aiding in the region's economic health and future development.
