We're into August now, and it's hot! If you don't have central air conditioning in your home, you probably sleep with a fan blowing on you to stop you from sweating through your sheets. Unfortunately, Bustle has found that that may not be great for you as it could cause dehydration.

The rapid air movement throughout the night can dry out your mouth and nasal passages (so that would explain any sore throat you may have in the morning). You skin could be drying out as well and might feel more tight in the morning than usual.

It also moves around allergens and dust that can start to irritate your allergies or asthma. So while there is nothing bad about having a fan blowing in your bedroom at night while you sleep, it is good to know the side effects of having that fan blowing on you all night long.
