2019 marks the 57th year that the July Fest Celebration in downtown Binghamton has been offering summer fun for people all up and down the east coast. If you don't know the history, it was in 2010 that the Binghamton Music & Jazz Festival joined forces with the July Fest and the result was the biggest July Fest event in history which led to the event being expanded to three days.

July Fest will be held on Friday, July 5th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.,  Saturday, July 6th from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sunday, July 7th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

At July Fest, you'll find a little something for all ages. There's the Kidz Art Zone where your little ones can make their own arts and crafts and where they can get their face painted.

The Artists in Action area on Washinton Street and at the Metro Center will showcase artists from all around the Southern Tier and their beautiful work.

If you're a runner, you won't want to miss the 12th Annual Parlor City 5k Run. The run will take place on Saturday, July 6th, starting on the east side of the Court Street Bridge, and will wind through the West Side of Binghamton before returning to July Fest. And if it's music and jazz you're looking for, there will be performances from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Check out the complete lineup here.

July Fest will be held on Court Street, between the Court House and Water Street with Washington Street between Court and Hawley. And the best part about July Fest? Admission is absolutely free!
