A man who was found asleep at a McDonald's restaurant drive-thru in Johnson City has been accused of possessing crack cocaine.

Authorities say police were called to the business on Harry L Drive at 3:10 a.m. Friday to check on a person who reportedly was passed out in a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they discovered 20-year-old Christopher Cady of Johnson City asleep at the wheel of his car.

Police confiscated some crack cocaine found in the vehicle.

Cady was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
