Last week, the internet started buzzing when Capital FM revealed why Dua Lipa could be the frontrunner for the voice behind the next James Bond movie.

"Bookmakers have reduced the odds of Dua being named as the Bond theme singer, now making her the favourite, with Ed Sheeran and Jessie J also being strongly touted as potential artists to get involved," the site wrote. "Many people had predicted fellow Brits Ed Sheeran or Adele would be likely to get the nod this time around, but Dua's fast-paced rise to superstardom appears to have made her the frontrunner for the job."

On Sunday (May 20), the "IDGAF" singer addressed the rumors on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet. “I don’t know. I would love to do it, but I’m not recording it…so far…I don’t want to jinx it," she said. "I would love to do it.”

If she does land the gig, the English hitmaker will join the star-studded ranks of Bond theme song singers before her, including AdeleSam SmithAlicia KeysChris CornellMadonna and Sheryl Crow.
