Let me just start off by saying that as a big guy, I have been looking for studies like this my whole life. Sadly though, next week someone will come out and say that this food will NOT help with weight loss.

But, for the next week I will be shoveling in this food like it's going out of style.

It's pretty much accepted now that eating carbs makes you gain weight.  That's bad news for, you know, every food that tastes good.  So listen up . . .

A new study of more than 23,000 people found that pasta DOESN'T actually make you chubby.

In fact, the researchers found that people who ate pasta were SKINNIER than people who didn't.

And here's the best part:  The study comes from ITALY.  Let's thank the Italians for stepping up to cast some doubt on all the anti-carb health nuts.

The researchers say people who ate pasta were more likely to be on the Mediterranean diet, which includes lots of fruits, vegetables, fish, and whole grains.

So even if all the carbs in pasta might be bad, if you're having it in moderation with a healthy diet, you probably don't have to worry about it too much. (The Telegraph)
