Eminem has been relatively quiet as of late, but he made a rare appearance Wednesday night (Aug. 8) in New York at the G-Shock "Shock the World" 30-Year anniversary party.

Slim Shady's appearance was in conjunction with news that the popular watchmaker will release a limited-edition Detroit-themed Eminem G-Shock Watch in December. The all-black timepiece will feature Detroit's skyline on the watch band as well as his signature reverse “E” imprint and an autographed "Shady" logo. The watch will retail for $180.

Em performed a bevy of his classic hits including 'Cleaning Out My Closet,' 'Stan,' 'Lighters' (with Royce da 5'9") and 'Lose Yourself.'

Slim Shady Records artist Yelawolf opened up the event.

Afterward, Eminem's hype man and fellow producer, Mr. Porter, hinted that new music is coming soon from the Detroit spitfire.

"Some of these Em fans will have something to talk about soon.. Thank god cause y'all be killing my timeline," he tweeted.
