Enjoy ‘Coffee with a Cop’ in Delaware County

Coffee With a Cop, the brainchild of members of the Hawthorne Police Department in California, was born in 2011. The officers were looking for ways to better connect with the citizens of their community and the idea was so popular that other police departments adopted the idea and created their own Coffee With a Cop events.

Since 2011, Coffee With a Cop events have been held in all 50 states and has even expanded into Canada, Europe, Australia, and Africa. And now, one is coming to Delaware County.

This is your opportunity to sit down with members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office over a cup of coffee and chat about any issues or concerns you have. You'll also learn how you can make a difference in your community.

Coffee With a Cop will be held on Friday, November 18th from 9am-11am at the Delaware County Public Safety Building. This informal event is free and open to the public.
