Additional Information

Representatives from the National LEAD Support Bureau and the Albany LEAD Program will join the community for a discussion on Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD). LEAD is a harm reduction program that seeks to decrease reliance on the criminal justice system by allowing police officers to divert individuals to community-based resources instead of arrest. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions, give feedback, and help influence Ithaca’s LEAD program. Complimentary on-site child care and food will be provided.
