The Fox Trot 5K Trail Race is a fun run is inspired by Daisy, our Red Fox ambassador! The race is considered moderately difficult with stretches in the field and woods, flat and hilly. Race registration will be capped at 115 runners. You can pre-register today, or right up until the night before race, to be sure to have a spot in the race, and to guarantee you get your size of t-shirt (until Sept. 17th). Child care for race participants is available for a $5 suggested donation.
And if you are not a runner/walker, but want to participate in the race, you can still raise funds on behalf of the Cayuga Nature Center by clicking the "Start Fundraising" button at https://tinyurl.com/foxtrot17 and creating your own personal fundraiser. All funds raised, including registration fees and donations, will go to the very diverse animal department. Thank you for your support!
After the 5K trail run join us for the Kid's Fox Chase! Starting after the race has finished, around 10:15am, kids (8 and under) will have the fun opportunity to chase our “fox” (Camp Director Dayna Jorgenson) around the field!
Day of Race Registration will be from 8:00am-8:45am and the race will begin at 9:00am. The Kids’ Fox Chase will follow after the race at about 10:15, and the award ceremony will begin at 10:45am.
