One of the best things about living in Upstate New York, if you ask me, is the changing of the leaves in the Fall. It is such a beautiful sight to behold.

I Love New York's website has started issuing maps online to show where foliage in the state is changing and where you can see near-peak and peak conditions.

Right now, Binghamton is at about 40 percent, hitting mid-point to near peak levels of foliage. The website says that right now we have mostly yellow and bright red leaves in the area.

If you travel North into the Adirondacks, that's where you'll see ideal peak conditions of foliage. Mt. Arab and Tupper Lake specifically is where the website says you'll see the best views. Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain also has ideal foliage.

The New York Fall Foliage report comes out every week, and hopefully soon we'll be seeing peak conditions right here in Binghamton. It's almost time to take my camera outside for some beautiful photos!
