Fallback Friday – Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol Audition [VIDEO]

Kelly Clarkson auditioned for the the very first season of American Idol which was 13 years ago! At the time she was only 20 years old. Today, she celebrates her 33rd birthday! 

She won that season of American Idol beating out Justin Guarini.

What an amazing career she has had! I always liked her because she seems to still be very down to earth and it doesn't seem like the fame and money has "gotten to her head" like you often see happen with people who make it big.

She had a baby not that long ago and she got a lot of flack for not dropping that baby weight. I don't understand how people come in all shapes and sizes except in Hollywood...they expect everyone to be thin as a pin even after having a baby.

If we all looked the same, what a boring world we would live in! I like how she didn't cave to that criticism and said she's a singer not a sex symbol. Shes right! And shes a very good singer!
