Family Gatherings Aren’t What They Used To Be!

I remember growing up and going to family gatherings.  It came down to who could talk the loudest to be heard!  There was a lot of laughing, visiting and getting to know each other!

Man, how times have changed!  The picture with this blog is me "visiting" with my nephews!  As adults, we are all responsible!  I asked some kid last week how he was doing and I really thought he was going to wet his pants!  However, if I were to text him the same question I probably would have gotten a better answer.

Even at work, emails are more convenient than talking to a co-worker.  More and more, we are encouraged to do more on the different social media sites and less and less interacting with actual human beings!

Whatever happened to the art of conversation?
