Feel Good Friday! Here Are A Couple Of Community Events To Check Out This Weekend!

This community is second to none in helping out when people are in need or fall on hard times!  So, if you are looking to do something this weekend, here are a couple events that help out people and organizations in the community!

There is a benefit for Barb (Marsh) Hover who is battling small cell carcinoma lung cancer.  The benefit is on Saturday from 2pm-6pm at the Lisle Fire Station on Route 79 in Lisle.  There will be basket raffles, 50/50s and a chicken biscuit dinner.  The cost is only $10.

There will be an auction to benefit the Blizzard Girls Hockey Team on Saturday starting at 5pm at Burger Mondays in Binghamton.  A bunch of great auction items like local gift certificates, Yankee tickets, sports memorabilia, show tickets, a balloon ride, Senators box for the 2014 season and more.  All the proceeds will go to the Binghamton Blizzard Girls Youth Hockey Association.
